Re: Sam's post match comments.
To be fair we would have been knackered because of the Southampton match. Chasing shadows with practically 9 men on the pitch. I think it did show because we just wasn't closing down west brom when they had the ball.

But then again that's what happens when you set out to defend against teams like Southampton and end up struggling to survive because you think you can't outplay them. You reep what you sow.

Pullis gets ordinary teams with no stars to play well above themselves. Showed Allardyce up today. Piss poor performance, feel sorry for our travelling support.

Re: Sam's post match comments.
If WBA have also played 3 games in 6 days then he seriously needs to be brought to task and asked to explain those comments, he shouldn't just be allowed to get away with it. This cunt is making 3 mil a year and that's all we get? The man disgusts me.

Allardyce blames the fixture list and injuries, we played 3 games in 6 days....................... Um so did West Brom you cunt.

Re: Sam's post match comments.
A mate text me earlier saying allegedly there had been a "mini player revolt" re the signing of Darren Fletcher..... Anyone know more on this?

I suspect mini player revolt possibly means Nolan whined because it was his place up for grabs!!!

Re: Sam's post match comments.
Like i said earlier .... Most of the time we play against teams with plenty of talent and the managers are largely superfluous. Pulis never has that luxury so has to raise his teams. One of the few occassions when sam gets to actually go head to head with a manager and he gets outthought every time. Shows that Pulis can make a positive difference. All that Sam can make is a negative one. Luckiest man in football. Ironically probably the most arrogant too. Amusing really

Re: Sam's post match comments.
He's blaming defeat on fatigue

WBA played three games on Sunday,Wednesday and today. So why weren't they fatigued? It's the usual Allardyce BULLSHIT folks.

Re: Sam's post match comments.
Yep. He put it down to the amount of games and the injuries, including the one to Poyet which was a bit strange considering Poyet had as much chance of starting as me even if he was fit.

Has he made any yet?

Re: Sam's post match comments.
Nolan & Noble did not play against Southampton & Valencia only played 45 minutes and they were all shit so tiredness was not an excuse for them.

West Brom played last weekend and Wednesday night as well but I suppose that does not count.

IF you take into account all cup games (FA cup, League Cup, Europa league & Champions league) we have probably played the least amount of games compared to most premiership clubs yet Allardyce seems to be the manager who makes the most excuses about the amount of games we play.

3-0 down when Amalfitano came on so how could he possibly be to blame.

Re: Sam's post match comments.
Injuries, 3 matches in 6 days (although West Brom have had the same), team didn't follow instructions and dig out a few individuals - probably Morgan and Sakho in this instance.

Usual script after a defeat.

Re: Sam's post match comments.
It's the games. We've played too many. A lot of players are injured including bizarrely, Poyet. Not bizarre that he's injured, just bizarre that Allardyce named him.

It will be the loss of Andy Carroll who obviously would have won the game on his own because he was such a great signing.
